How sturdy are your products?
All of our products are sturdy enough for adult use, and meet all ASTM safety guidelines. All of our mattress supports are rated to hold 400 lbs. of distributed weight.
Tell me about your mattress supports.
Each mattress support slat kit will hold 400 lbs. of distributed weight. If you feel your child will not be able to resist jumping up and down on the mattress, we recommend that you go to your local home improvement store and get a piece of 1/2" plywood cut to fit on top of the provided slats.
Are these beds easy to assemble?
Yes. Many parts of the beds come pre-assembled, so you won't have to put together drawers or hang access doors on hinges.
What do you mean when you say your beds meet all ASTM guidelines?

Captain's BedsProminent headboard - footboard is generally flush with the siderails. Under-bed area has built-in storage.
Day BedsHeadboard and footboard are identical, so bed can be pushed against a wall for a sofa-like configuration. Under-bed area has built-in storage.
